Air & Habitat is an independent English editorial publication about home air, ventilation and thermal comfort. We are not a contractor, manufacturer or utility, and we are not affiliated with any former business identity. We publish reader questions and plain-language explainers.

Who we serve

Our readers include homeowners, renters and people planning a renovation or equipment replacement. They want to understand how their home breathes, heats and cools without sales pressure. We assume no technical background and define terms as we go.

What we cover

We organize articles under three rubriques: Home Air, Ventilation and Thermal Comfort. Home Air looks at pollutants, filtration and air sealing. Ventilation covers kitchen, bath, whole-house and duct systems. Thermal Comfort explains heating, cooling, humidity and the feeling of comfort.

Our editorial approach

We draw on publicly available guidance from sources such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. We do not claim measured keyword volumes or search ranking research. We do not provide medical advice or step-by-step gas, electrical or structural installation procedures.
